Strength and conditioning is a sport science field that is designed to reduce the likelihood of injury and improve sports performance. This includes strength, power, speed, agility, conditioning and injury prevention training amongst others.  

We provide online programme support for all athletes from amateur to elite. We will design the programme around the needs of the athletes in relation to their sport, their training history and their sport specific training programme. We offer testing batteries to assess our athletes at the start of the programme and monitor progress over time thereafter, this includes movement screening and testing qualities such as strength, power, speed, agility, and fitness. 

The programme will be lead by Ashley Downing, who is an Accredited Strength and Conditioning Coach with the United Kingdom Strength and Conditioning Association, has a MSc Applied Sport and Exercise Science Degree and a 1st Class BSc (Hons) Sport Coaching degree. He has experience working with international and national level athletes in several sports including basketball, football, rugby league, hockey, rugby union, archery, climbing, javelin, and boxing. Ash is currently Lead Strength and Conditioning Coach for GB Archery Paralympic programme and Olympic pathway programme, he is also Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Scottish Rugby Union Exiles programme managing the development of their U16-U20 international players in England and Wales.
